Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
RealConverter is a 100% client-side application. Files you open, convert, compress, or edit never leave your browser. We may collect anonymised analytics (pages visited, browser type, referral source) to improve the service. We do not collect names, emails, file names, or file contents.

3. File Processing and Data Security
All processing happens entirely within your browser:
- PDF tools: pdf-lib and pdfjs-dist, runs locally
- Image tools: browser Canvas API and WASM codecs
- Audio and Video: FFmpeg.wasm locally (engine CDN download on first use; your files are never sent)
- Background Remover: AI model CDN download on first use; inference runs locally
- Word to PDF: custom in-browser rendering engine
Runtime note: Some tools download their engine from a CDN on first use and require internet. Your files are never uploaded.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser localStorage only to remember UI preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
Hosted on Cloudflare Pages — governed by their Privacy Policy . Tool engine assets may be downloaded from third-party CDNs.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes are reflected in the Last updated date at the top of the page.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using RealConverter you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
RealConverter is a free, browser-based file utility platform. All processing is client-side.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not use RealConverter for any unlawful purpose
- Do not process files containing malware or illegal content
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the service
- Do not automate or scrape in ways that degrade performance for others
4. Best-Effort Service - No Warranty
We provide RealConverter on a best effort basis. We cannot guarantee pixel-perfect conversions 100% of the time for all complex files. If something goes wrong, please report it using the form below — we review all reports and fix issues as quickly as we can.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. REALCONVERTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
5. Limitation of Liability
RealConverter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. As the service is free, our total liability is limited accordingly.
6. Intellectual Property
RealConverter design and code are our property. Open-source libraries are subject to their own licenses. You retain full ownership of all files you process.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted with a revised date.
